OUR STORY In 1958 my parents fell in love with a parcel of land near Groveland with its majestic views of Yosemite. Their dream was to build a home there, surrounded by the grandeur of the Sierras. Fifty years later, my wife and I returned to make their dream a reality.

Located just outside of Groveland, CA, that land is now the site of our family's home and the location of our distinctive vineyard and our family-owned winery. It is land that we have grown to love and hope to maintain as a family treasure for decades to come. Ron & Cheryl Harms

WHO WE ARE Cheryl and Ron Harms are the owners of Yosemite Cellars. Ron grew up in the small community of Groveland where Yosemite Cellars is located. Ron completed his graduate education in Wisconsin, and enjoyed a career of nearly 30 years in health care management. Cheryl is originally from Southern California. She spent her early career in education, followed by work in retail management and sales. Together, Cheryl and Ron raised three children: Ryan, a winemaker and owner of Union Wine Company in Oregon; Eric, the Director of Finance for Union Wine Company and co-owner of the Christopher Michael and Amity Vineyards wine brands; and Kara, who lives in the Boston area with her family.
