Firefall Red
This red blend showcases the unique terroir of its high-elevation home with bright, structured flavors and dense berry notes that are both approachable and compelling. It's a wine that doesn't demand fuss or ceremony—just pour and enjoy. The fruit's natural intensity, shaped by rocky soils and mountain conditions, delivers a complexity that makes it equally suited for weeknight dinners or weekend gatherings.
The 2023 Firefall red is roughly 75% tannat and 25% cabernet franc.
Rosé
Our rocky south-facing slope bathes the vines in sunlight during the day while cool alpine temperatures at night preserve the fruit's natural acidity and brightness. This Rosé captures the essence of our high-elevation terroir with delicate notes of honeydew, pink grapefruit, and honeysuckle—a refreshing expression of the Sierra foothills that's as distinctive as the landscape surrounding it.
The 2024 Yosemite Cellars Rosé is made from grenache off the roughly 3.5 acre vineyard. The grapes for this wine were harvested, chilled overnight and pressed whole cluster. Fermentation was slow and cool to preserve aromatics.
